The Sunday Grace | Vol. 4

Sunday is a day to refuel our soul and taking time to be grateful for all the wonderful people and things we have and see each day. The Sunday Grace aims to count all the blessings we received big or small and to promote good vibes.

This week for me has been about meeting new friends, connecting and catching up. I never thought that in this short period of time in Australia, I will be able to meet and make new friends. I’m so grateful for all these wonderful people.

  • My sister-in-law has been such an angel. She hosted a baby shower for me. It’s funny because it is supposed to be a surprise one but my husband spoiled it. It suddenly slips off his mouth and the reaction of my sister-in-law is priceless. :) It was a fun event  with lots of games. I feel so special.
  • Joining blogging communities has open up a lot of opportunities for me. More importantly I was able to connect with mums across the globe. I’m happy to read their stories, to learn from their experience.
  • A lunch date with hubby and his boss. They really wanted me to fatten up lol. I honestly can’t keep up how big their appetite is. I have been reckless with my diet the last few weeks on my pregnancy. But hey, I'd been so strict for the past 8 months. It doesn't hurt if I indulge right?
  • Since I haven’t pop out yet, my Filipino friends bring me along to their mini Christmas party last Saturday. I had a feast (again) on the foods that was served! It was all yum. We talk about everything over lunch, had an exchange gift afterwards and headed to the swimming pool to cool down the summer heat.
  • Movie Date with hubby. We watched the Star Wars: Episode VII – The Force Awakens. It was a good movie, very entertaining. We had a few good laughs.
  • Up until now my little one still taking his time inside my tummy. My family and in-laws has been waiting when he will come out. He will be when he is ready I supposed :b

This has been I’m grateful for the week. How about you? How was your week? Let me know in the comment box =)

  1. Glad to hear you had a lovely baby shower Aubrey! I didn't have a baby shower because all my friends and family live in various places, it was too much organisation, but I regret it a bit now. Sounds like you've been busy socialising and eating :)
